‘You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to God in heaven. - Matthew 5:14-16

Hey everyone!

We had a great time on Zoom last Sunday with youth from Olympia, Tumwater, St. Andrews and Rochester!

Last week we each shared a piece of music that is bringing us hope and/or calm this week. Here's a Youtube playlist and here's a list of individual songs (can you guess who suggested which songs?):

"Control" by Tenth Avenue North

"What a Beautiful Name/Break Every Chain" by Hillsong Worship

"O Lord Hear My Prayer" by Jacques Berthier

"Beautiful Things" by Gungor

"Soweiso" or "Die Chore" by Mark Foster

"Home" Kristen Bell

"Don't lose your head" or "Six" from Six: The Musical

"Everybody Talks" by Neon Trees

"Weightless" by Marconi Union

This week on Zoom we'll be playing Bible pictonary, checking in with each other and giggling a lot! Hope to see you, 1:30pm this Sunday March 29!

Zoom Instructions for this Sunday 3/29

1:30pm-3:00pm

If you have a desktop/laptop with a camera, mircophone & speakers, or a smart phone or tablet simply click on this link on Sunday: https://greaternw.zoom.us/j/543509527

If for some reason the link doesn't work - we also found last week that if you go to Zoom.us/join and enter the meeting ID number (below) that also works

Don't have access to those things? You can still join the fun! Call this number on your phone: 1 301 715 8592

When prompted enter the meeting ID number: 543 509 527

You will be able to hear us and we will be able to hear you :)

Attached here is a very detailed PDF (with screen shots) if you are new to Zoom. Zoom is very similar to Skype, Facebook Messenger Videochat, Facetime or Alexa with a video screen. You do not need a Zoom account to participate. Angelina will be on from 1pm onwards on Sunday to help troubleshoot as/if needed.

We will be gathering every Sunday this way for the forseeable future. During our time together this Sunday we will pray and check in with one another. We will also ask you what else you would like to do together over Zoom in the coming weeks.

See you on Sunday!

Remember, though the times are uncertain,

God's love and presence in our lives is not.
