We are excited to announce that on Tuesday, October 23rd, we will be celebrating the Fall Senior Supper. Don’t be surprised if tricks and treats are involved. All are welcome to join us! Robin Eagen will be collecting RSVP’s to make sure enough lunch is prepared for everyone. This will be Supper with entertainment to follow. We would like to thank everyone that donated towards our new dishwasher! We are so thankful this has arrived and are excited to put it to use!

St. Benedict's Community Dinner

This is held at St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church. St. Andrew’s takes turns cooking, and everyone helps serve. In conjunction with St. Benedict’s Episcopal (910 Bowker Street, Lacey) we serve a hot meal for the homeless and low-income people in our community. Come help set-up, serve, clean-up. R.E.A.C.H.

We are looking for volunteers that have worked with children either in a school or church setting. Retired Teachers, School Administrators, School Volunteers or folks that want to see children of all social economic backgrounds succeed. St. Andrew’s will be offering a Literacy program for elementary aged children August 13th through August 24th, 10:00 a.m. to Noon. If you would like to volunteer for one day or all 10 days, please contact Barbara Clarkson. We can use your help!

R E A C H = Reading Enhances All Choices for Humans

Students needing a BOOST with Phonics - Spelling, Short & Long, Sounds, Blends, Sight Words & Writing Comprehension - Fluency, Practice for Readers

Registration Packets available starting August 1st.

Summer Kids Camp

We are joining with Evergreen UMC to host a week of Vacation Bible School for the children in our community.

Registrations forms are on the table in the fellowship hall. Please feel free to share them with family, friends and neighbors.

We can always use volunteers too! If you have some time to share, we would love to have you join us! Please contact Pastor Meredith or Kathy in the church office for more information.

We will be collecting School Supplies throughout VBS to give to our local school, Lydia Hawk Elementary. If you would like to donate to the school supplies, please place them in the bin in the fellowship hall.

Can’t help out on a daily basis but still want to support VBS? Watch for snack tags and craft tags to be coming soon outside the sanctuary. Thank you so much for your support!

Sunday School for our Youth

Thank you to all who donated to and participated in our own Crop Walk to support our FORKids program. A great time was had by all who attended and walked around the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge.

**Youth Sunday School will begin again in September. If you would like to help with the kids please talk with Janie or Heidi.
