Services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Broadview Community Church, 325 N. 125th St., Seattle, WA 98133.

Marian Teresa Vimont passed away January 5, 2016 in Lacey, Washington.  She was born April 11, 1929 to James and Margret (Derr) Swalwell in Everett, Washington.  A 30-year resident of Lacey, she also lived in Everett, Seattle, Edmonds, Whidbey Island, Centralia, Grayland, and Ridgefield, Washington; and Lincoln City and Salem, Oregon.

She graduated from Seattle’s Lincoln High School, and attended Everett Community College and Centralia Community College, and received a psychology degree in 1983 from The Evergreen State College in Olympia.

Her most important job was that of being a mother.  She was very giving and loving, and her extended family held a special place in her heart.  She also worked in fabric sales, sewing, and caregiving.  She collected thousands of family photos and china, and loved to sew.

She is survived by nine sons, Brian of Snohomish, WA, Barry of Seattle, WA, Bruce of Lacey, WA, Bobby of Texas, Jerry of Tacoma, WA, Tommy of Bremerton, WA, Larry of New Orleans, LA, Louis of Naches, WA; six daughters, Judy of  Bellingham, WA, Roberta of New Orleans, LA, Janell of Federal Way, WA, Gloria of Atlanta, GA, Valerie of Shelton, WA, and Carin of  Laguna Nigual, CA; 26 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents; twin brothers, Harvey and Leonard; second husband, Robert McKee; third husband, Louis Vimont; and son, Brent Wood.
